About the Authors of the PAS The PAS was developed by Tony Jorm and Andrew Mackinnon in collaboration with the staff of the Psychiatric Epidemiology Research Center (now the Mental Health Research Centre) at the Australian National University.

We now both work at the work at Orygen Youth Heath Research
Centre at the University
of Melbourne. Tony's current research focuses on public knowledge and
beliefs about mental disorders, and particularly on interventions to improve the
public’s helpfulness towards people developing mental disorders. Andrew is the
head of the Statistics Unit at Orygen.
